And Now, Time for Humble Chad
YouTube CEO Chad Hurley, he of the company that’s now reportedly offering nine-figure sums to get the most powerful media companies in the world off his back (oh, and in the meantime, force out all the competition) is all about humility.
In a Business 2.0 piece on “the brightest minds in business,” Hurley’s advice for startups is to get user feedback before raising funding, let the community guide product development, and use charm rather than force to forge partnerships.
He was totally kidding about that two kings thing, guys. P. Diddy said it first. But c’mon, you can’t sell your company for $1.65 billion dollars without the driving force of hubris.
