Axiom TV First to Deploy Verisign CDN
In a follow up to the story about Verisign’s Intelligent Content Delivery Network, former Kontiki customer AxiomTV will stick with the technology when they roll out their family-friendly movie download service on Feb. 1. AxiomTV is a division of Axiom Entertainment, a project of Daniel Brian and Associates of Rochester, Michigan.
Besides promising fast downloads that can be viewed on regular televisions, Axiom will also integrate strong parental controls. “Axiom.TV will be the first movie download technology that will protect children from inappropriate content including pornography, violence and vulgarity through a military-grade web-blocking technology called ‘Mother,’” reads the release. In deference to Moms everywhere (especially military-grade ones), we are withholding comment.
