Golden Globes Gets Online Red Carpet

If just watching the Golden Globes broadcast awards show Monday isn’t enough stimulation, MSN and Dick Clark Productions will have a companion online red carpet show that will offer live feeds from the press room (ooh look! media people with laptops!) as well as interviews with winners in real time.

According to the press release:

This red carpet programming is an entirely new way of experiencing the Golden Globes and is designed to capitalize on the multi-platform media habits of today’s sophisticated audiences.

Meaning, when you are bored with their commercials you can click over to MSN. (For some pre-show Globes video, check out David “Carpetbagger” Carr’s reports at the NYT.)
