iFanboys Start Vidcast, Fanboys Rejoice

The popular comic book and pop culture podcasters at iFanboy.com have gone from audio to video. The new show (with the familiar name) is available on the Revision3 network, known for other popular shows like Ctrl-Alt-Chicken and Diggnation. In the first episode, hosts Josh Flanagan, Conor Kilpatrick, and Ron Richards debate which are the ‘must own’ trade paperback graphic novels.

ifanboy.jpgThe deal gives Revision3 the exclusive rights to produce and distribute the show. This means that you’ll not only be able to subscribe via iTunes, but via RSS feeds of over half a dozen formats or even via torrent downloads.

Why is Revision3 so clued in to open formats for content distribution? Probably because it wasn’t founded by traditional broadcasters, but by hipster internerds Kevin Rose, Jay Adelson and David Prager.
