YouTube Going Mobile On Its Own
YouTube will launch its own mobile version of its site this spring, GigaOM writer Katie F. has learned. The site will be ready and live to European users in May, and open to U.S. users in June after YouTube’s exclusive relationship with Verizon Wireless is up, according to a YouTube spokesperson Katie talked to at the CTIA conference in Orlando. The company will provide access to 800 selected videos and eventually its entire catalog. Read the full story at GigaOM.
