Think you’ve got the acting chops to pull off a screen test audition for a new web sitcom? Of course you do! “Office 2.0″ is a new series in pre-production in need of on-camera talent. Based in New York City, they’re looking for locals who can “pretend” to be Silicon Alley hipstards. Reading their treatment, I’m seeing “The Office” meets DotBoom.

There are six roles being cast, so you know you’ve got a shot. Is this a production where you’ll earn scale, or at least get a SAG card? Unlikely. In fact, I can’t personally guarantee that it’s a moneymaker — in business circles, the “new media revolution” seems to mean “we don’t pay as well as old media.”

But hey, they’ve got a wiki, so venture capitalists can’t be far behind.
