CNN: Cell Cam Video got 2 million views
The dramatic cell cam video that became a central part of the news coverage of the Virginia Tech shootings was viewed more than 2 million times, according to Beet.TV’s Andy Plesser, who attributes the numbers to CNN in his “exclusive” post.
While Plesser goes on to report that CNN claims it served up 11.4 million video-clip views last Monday, far above the network’s average of 2.1 million a day, perhaps the most heartening nugget in Plesser’s post is the news that a tribute page to the victims is at 15 million views and growing, and according to CNN people it’s the most-popular feature page ever on CNN.com’s site. If there are any videos and pictures that should attract record views, it’s tributes to the innocent victims, and not any lunatic rants.

so, would the cell cam video supplier get any money for that, say percentage of the advertizing on that page?
