Joost Lets In Anyone Who Knows Anyone

Joost, the internet TV software from the creators of Kazaa and Skype, opens to the public today. Well, sort of. Existing beta testers can now send out unlimited invitations. If I have some time later I’ll go through the comments on our old posts and try to let all you guys in.

The application will now display ads from some of the blue-chip names Joost announced deals with last week, a list that includes Coca-Cola, HP, Intel, Nike, Electronic Arts, Sony Electronics, and IBM.

We recently rounded up some of the best video on Joost; the company claims more than 150 channels currently, with not much in the way of indie content. (More from Om here.)
