BlackArrow Launching Ad Platform Soon?

BlackArrow is a stealth-mode video advertising startup we’re keeping an eye on. VentureBeat had mentioned at the end of last year it raised $14.75 million.

The New York City-based company promises a “multiplatform video ad-management solutions for agencies, content programmers and operators.” The idea is apparently an un-skippable commercial. Here’s a detailed piece on the company’s philosophy of on-demand advertising from last summer.

We have confirmed the startup has funding from Cisco, Comcast Interactive Capital, Intel, Mayfield Fund, and Polaris Venture Partners, as it claims on its website. We’re told the company may have more to talk about in about a month.
