Classic Game Shows Go Interactive
Interactive versions of gameshows are nothing new — the format has been ported to handheld devices, board games, Nintendo cartridges and beyond for decades now. But UK-based wedigtv.com brings a couple of interesting new twists to the table.

For starters, it seamlessly integrates video with flash elements to put you “in the game.” That means that real hosts of classic shows turn up to do the announcing (complete with charming accents and bad hair). I’ve already wasted part of my morning playing Bullseye, which combines two of a typical punter’s favorite activities — darts and trivia.
In addition, you can either play just for kicks, or you can sign up to play for actual British Pounds Sterling. Purchase some credits via Paypal and enter to win. Though a warning to Yanks — this may run afoul of federal internet gambling statutes. So you may have to wait to cash in on The Price Is Right skills you honed over years of playing hooky and watching daytime telly.
According to the about page, the company got its start doing the online version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?. That’s where they developed their “i-show” format, and when the franchise went worldwide, they were kept on to produce versions for all the foreign flavors. According to our friendly tipster, they may soon add the English version of Deal or No Deal, which on this side of the pond is incredibly popular online.
