On The Castro.com

Check out this new, community-based, on-line news show about the world famous Castro district.
You’ll find hip videos about the people, places and events in the gay community and San Francisco in general and abroad.

On our independent online network, we realized almost immediately that bundling our video shows along with traditional text articles, blogs and podcasts was optimal, not just interms of ad impressions/revenue, but also in terms of visibility. Text is still a winner in terms of search. For now. In the long haul, people would rather watch than read. The monetization will follow.
