Video Showdown: When Animals Attack
Crazy animal antics have an established place in the viral video world. That “otters holding hands” video made it all the way to Conan O’Brien, and who could forget “Panda Sneeze,” referenced by an intense suit in animal acquisitions on iChannel?
This past weekend YouTube has fed the frenzy over a rather odd bit of viral video. The video, which has nearly 3 million views on YouTube, runs for over eight minutes with minimal editing. Called “Battle at Kruger,” it features a menagerie of African megafauna duking it out circle of life style.

In that vein, we bring you more animal battles from National Geographic’s recently launched YouTube channel. While I find the narrator supremely annoying, it’s still the best way to get a quick exotic animal fix.
Octopi are perhaps the most terrifying animals to haunt my nightmares. I just don’t know what it is about tentacles.
(This is a sequel to this video where 30 hornets destroy a colony of 30,000 honey bees.)
But if you really want some amazing animal footage whip out your HD TV and check out BBC’s Planet Earth series. David Attenborough never had it so good.
