NewTeeVee Events
Lots of stuff going on around the video world this week, from film-geeky to geeky-geeky. Of course, the entire NewTeeVee team and friends will be at our Pier Screenings next Tuesday. This month’s installment will feature parody videos — and heat lamps!

The Online Publishers Association is continues its Eyes on the Internet 2007 tour in Boston on June 20 and New York on June 21. This year’s theme is “Frames of Reference: Online Video Advertising, Content and Consumer Behavior.”
The 48 Hour Film Project kicks off today in San Francisco, Baltimore, Milwaukee, Virginia Beach and New York. Past winners include Douglas Sarine and Kent Nichols of Ask a Ninja.
If you’re in Singapore on Tuesday, Kevin Lim is presenting a talk titled “YouTube and beyond: What you want to know but never knew who to ask” about online video publishing at the National Library.
And Wednesday, the Innovation Center Denmark in Palo Alto is hosting “New and Emerging Revenue Opportunities in Web 2.0 for User-Generated Content.” Can’t go wrong with free pizza and beer.
