Diddy Looks for Personal Assistant via YouTube
When it comes to applying for a job with a music biz icon, nothing says “I’m qualified” like saying “I’ll be your b*tch.”
Just ask the kids responding to Diddy’s search for a personal assistant, which the hip hop impresario is conducting through YouTube:
“If you feel that you could be my assistant, okay, I want to know why you could be my personal assistant. So what better job than that, having me screaming at you, keeping you up late after hours, have you sleep deprived? If this job interests you, why don’t you upload, I’ll say, your video interview…it’s a new age, a new time a new era. Forget coming into the office and having a meeting with me and being nervous. Upload it to YouTube and tag it “diddy assistant.” Keep it three minutes or less, okay, I don’t like anything long-winded…this is gonna be fun.”
Right, and by fun we mean good for some laughs, and by laughs we mean at you. Below, a few examples of YouTubers telling Diddy why they’re qualified:
- Because I’ve worked for one of the top plastic surgeons in California. Yes, and now you talk like Uncle Fester on Novocaine. Kudos.
- Because I’m sideways. How thug is that?!
- Because I’m wearing Doc Brown’s sunglasses. Style? Where we’re going we don’t need “style.”
- Because I worked at an auto auction.
- Because I possess the mental capacity to be your personal soldier.
There’s no word on the deadline for this contest, though it’s my sincere hope it never, ever ends. Good luck, Diddy. If you want my vote, choose this one here.

I am 39 years old, I have 6 children( 4 of the six are my step children that I have raised since age 3) their ages are 19, 18, 16, 15,14 and 12. I know what work is!!! That is all I do, from mowing 7 acers, washing cars, vaccuming at least 2 times daily no less than six loads of laundry a day, I am 5′6 and weigh 116 lbs, strawberry blonde hair and I love working and being busy. I take very good care of my self and my family. We are very involved in sports mainly soccer, the 2 freshman boys and the sophmore are all on our varsity team, and they play for vardar as well. They also play b-ball. sooo much fun. The girls are in choir,dance ,volleyball,soccer and track. I am solely the one who feeds waters cook,cleans,and runs them. I do all of this with everything always in its place, floors are washed every day…on my hands and knees. i have never owned a mop! I am the girl people ask what kind of laundry soap and fabric softner I use because we all “smell so good” that cracks me up; it happens all the time!!! I have been a cleaner for as long as I can remember, I love to clean and care for people and I am really really good at it. I get up running and I do not stop untill Im done with everything, I never leave the house or go to bed untill floors are washed and vaccumed dishes and laundry is done and bathrooms cleaned…Its a blessing and a curse ( as Mr. Monk would say) I believe cleniliness IS next to Godliness, and his word says that because we are to be God like, we are made in his image. It is the way he created me and I may work my fingers to the bones but I do it all with a happy heart. I dont think you or anyone could give me a task I couldnt handle. Im as strong as an ox and I can out run every one of my kids still and beat them in arm wrestling-I rarely get tired. I know I could do your job without a doubt!

Hey,
I think it’s called “virtual assistant” from what i have read. They are basically office support people who work from home in order to save office space as well as time for the employee having to commute back and forth. I think uploading an video on youtube would be a great idea.
