I'm not sure I understand. Are you having trouble with audio sync in Miro from videos available on YouTube? As to the quality question, while Miro can handle better quality video than YouTube currently displays, YouTube videos should play in Miro in the same quality available on the YouTube site.

I am always curious about all video aggitators. Am I reading this right? Miro pulls conent from Youtube, and has a better playback quality. The out of sink audio on Youtube players can be annoying, after working so hard , to have out of sink audio is getting annoying. Can anyone answer that? I'm not bashing, I just want an honest answer. Thanks.

We've had the pleasure working with the Miro folks a bit, and share a similar vision - that media exchange on the Internet should be open and interoperable (vs. closed with players such as Joost, iTunes, and VeohTV). I'm glad to finally see this release and will be upgrading shortly.

Obviously loading flash video inside of Google Reader wouldn't compare to this application. The especially cool part of Miro is that it downloads BitTorrent RSS feeds automatically. Meaning anyone can make a high definition web show and an unlimited amount of people can automatically download new episodes and get an alert in the task bar when a new episode is downloaded.
