Oh, I got really excited yesterday that my late-entry poster film was going to get shown in San Francisco… I was in the top six – even the top four – for ratings and comments yesterday afternoon and evening in the few hours leading up to the event… but I guess your cut off time was before that. Or maybe mine didn’t fit the theme well enough. Never mind. Wish I’d known and not put a note about it on my blog last night before I’d checked whether it was actually being screened… now I look a bit silly :)
Anyway, any video or reports of the evening? Who got the audience vote? Did the audience vote match the online vote?
Sorry Rupert, we had closed the contest well before the event started, as we needed time to coordinate high-resolution versions of the winners.
The audience and online vote was one and the same thanks to text messaging. I’ll be posting the winners here in a couple minutes, or you can check them out on the Pier Screenings site now.
