Latest Popcorn Works on iPhone, Includes TiVoToGo
The latest version of Roxio’s DVD burner Popcorn, which will be released at the end of the month, lets users copy their movies to both the iPhone and Apple TV, according to Wired’s Compiler, which gave it a test drive. Among the other new features on Popcorn 3 is TiVoToGo, which allows for recordings to be transferred from the set-top DVR to the Mac, then be burned or converted for playback (yes, also on the iPhone, Compiler notes). The full version of Popcorn 3 will reportedly cost $50; owners of previous versions will pay $30. It ships the last week of August in North America and will be released overseas in September.
