Protests Highlight Power of YouTube
The world has a better glimpse into the bloody skirmishes between pro-democracy protesters and the military government in Myanmar, thanks to video sharing sites like YouTube.
Despite a reported government block on Internet access, people are getting pictures and video taken with mobile phones past the digital blockade. Video like this one taken a few days ago during the monks’ protest:
