Well, two episodes in, I'm paradoxically annoyed and bored. I wanted to believe that big-budgets and seasoned vets could deliver something thus far unprecedented to the realm of serialized Internet content. But as it happens, despite their enormous advantages, it seems like they've made something as shallow, familiar and inconsequential as much of the homemade fare already clogging the net. This feels like a pilot that would've been rejected by the CW network with a note that reads, "Too derivative- even for us." I'll keep watching, for a while at least, in hopes that a moment will come when the series will surprise me. It's only 16 minutes of the pilot- so I'll reserve total judgment until at least the full episode is out there...
