Hammer Time! Dancejam Opens Up
Dancejam, MC Hammer’s YouTube for dance site is now open to the public. If you’ve always believed your motorcycle dance was better than anyone else’s, now’s the time to fire up that webcam to prove it. Upload a video to share your moves with the world, or go head-to-head and enter a dance battle (I’m calling you out, Gannes).

Dancejam has raised $4.5 million in funding so far from investors including Softbank Capital and Rustic Canyon. Liz interviewed Hammer a few months back on The GigaOM Show, and while she didn’t hurt ‘em, she did find out about the origins of the site, and where the founders hope to take it.
