On our site, we have a very vibrant community, video search engine, and discovery channels that includes UGC, TV, and Music - YouTube is about 15% of that content. But in comparison to other video sharing sites, YouTube continues to be ahead in terms of user experience (i.e. extremely fast-loading videos) and flexibility (they&#039;ve always had great RSS feeds and a great API - now it is even better).&lt;/p&gt;

What&#039;s the bet every single idea they mention is only because so many big sites kept wanting them: &quot;we want to see what you come up with&quot; -because we&#039;re so thick...lacking imagination......we will rip-off slide, facebook, joost, veoh, et al.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;And yet how much free press-attention will they get, just like the phase google had 1+ year ago.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My most negative rant, because a company of its resources should be doing more, or stay quiet.&lt;/p&gt;
