This sets the bar very high for other video sharing sites. I am extremely excited about this announcement. On our site, we have a very vibrant community, video search engine, and discovery channels that includes UGC, TV, and Music – YouTube is about 15% of that content. But in comparison to other video sharing sites, YouTube continues to be ahead in terms of user experience (i.e. extremely fast-loading videos) and flexibility (they’ve always had great RSS feeds and a great API – now it is even better).

Hi,

Completely ignorant non-event, lacking fundamental innovation. What's the bet every single idea they mention is only because so many big sites kept wanting them: "we want to see what you come up with" -because we're so thick...lacking imagination......we will rip-off slide, facebook, joost, veoh, et al.

And yet how much free press-attention will they get, just like the phase google had 1+ year ago.

My most negative rant, because a company of its resources should be doing more, or stay quiet.
