BD+ is <em>extra</em> DRM on top of AACS and had not been fully penetrated prior to this. But not all Blu-Ray titles had used BD+, in fact, only a few had, that's why so much Blu-Ray content is already available to share.</p> <p>The other point to mention is that both AACS and BD+ (afaik) can be updated, so future films may still have some protection, unlike DVD's after CSS was irevocably cracked. Looking forward to being able to chuck all the blu-ray I can stuff onto a media server. Will still buy the discs, but the sooner we are offered downloadable versions with options for backing up the better movies will be. Keep in mind that it's not the media that got cracked, but the files on the media that got cracked. Files on any media can and will be cracked, downloads or not.
