Thanks for the post Liz. I should clarify that while we are working with outside producers, some of our projects are in-house productions. It’s important to us that we function on both levels in order to best respond to the evolving economics of the market.

There's been a ton of deals (and a lot more talk of content deals) lately, but this feels important.

Seems like Xbox is a newly-developed ecosystem of users and getting access to push content to them is a good idea of where "this whole digital thing" is headed.

Gathering viewers to create a following is the new "network" where TV (and Hulu, for that matter) cannot tread yet. However, networks (and Hulu) have world-class long-form content that can't be competed with. I hope this deals changes that.

If Tim is looking for a producer gig, I'll throw my hat in for a writing gig.
