Wine Library Bringing the Thunder to Rev3
Revision3 continues to gobble up high-profile web content: the new media company will add Gary Vaynerchuk and his Wine Library TV to its roster. Veynerchuk is already a success in the vlogging world, with his wine show pulling in 60,000 “Vayniacs” a day. Partnering with Rev3 will give Vaynerchuk broader distribution and ad sales — which recently got more interesting, since Rev3 can now sell its own ads on its YouTube channel. The deal follows Revision3’s nabbing of popular pop culture web show EPIC-FU and comes days after the network canceled its own show Social Brew.
(Disclosure: Revision3 produces The GigaOM Show.)

Interesting. Wine Library TV isn’t really a tech show. Looks like Rev3 is branching out. Good. The more non-tech shows that become successful, the larger the viewer base for online video. This deal will be good for both Gary and Rev3.
