NTV Station Today: Web Video Saves IQ-145
What do you do with a failed TV pilot from 2006, starring then-unknown Thomas Dekker (John Conner in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles)? If you’re director Billy Dickson and producer Chad Cooperman, you cut it up in into 5-minute chunks to create a web series, perfectly targeted to the sci-fi-friendly web audience.
UPDATED: Our assertion that IQ-145 originated as a failed TV pilot were based on erroneous comments made in the press by a would-be producing partner. We have updated our review accordingly.
IQ-145 features gorgeous green screen effects, but is it actually worth watching? Read what we think — and then add your own thoughts at NewTeeVee Station!

I just wanted to say that IQ-145 was never a failed Pilot- once production was complete before anyone ever saw it- it had been formatted into 12 episodes-We never took it around to networks or studio execs who also finance the pilots themselves. We self-financed IQ-145. That’s why it was shot in a non-linear fashion- combinging several scripts to make it more of a puzzle-We wanted viewers to come back week after week exploring new pieces to the story. The intention from the begining was to make this and independant WEB series and therefore not a FAILED pilot.
All of the effects were produced in house by IQ-145.
New TV station is that right?
