I'm not sure a wider theatrical release really would have brought a huge audience to it, but a simultaneous mutliplatform release (theater, on demand, DVD, iTunes, etc.) would have made it a lot easier for me as a viewer to have helped spread the word.</p> <p>Slightly off topic, I also saw a very funny indie comedy, "The Ten" within a week of seeing "The Nines," at the very same movie theater.
