What’s in the Works at Strike.TV
Looking for more details on Strike.TV, the network of 40-plus online video series from the Hollywood pros? We’re not sure exactly what’s happening tomorrow, the supposed launch date, but we dug up some more goodies to give you a hint of what’s to come.
Here’s a “minidoc” (couldn’t find the embed code) with more detail on the shows and lots of enthusiasm about the freedom of working online.
And here’s a teaser:

Wow look what they wrote in there blog post for “Independence Day.”
“If you are a professional film or television story-teller and are in the WGA, DGA or SAG, and have a COMPLETED web series, pilot or film that you’re looking to monetize and distribute across the internet, we’d love to hear from you. Drop us a line and tell us about yourself and your creation at art@strike.tv.”
That just feels so warm, open and “Independent.”
Tried to watch the intro video on their website but the quality was so bad I had to quit.
I had no issues with the video…but today is the 4th, and I don’t see anything launched yet over on their site. Just this trailer thingy.
Somebody needs to hire a marketing staff. :P
I think they were only going to have the trailer for a little while, to get people interested in the shows. It’s cute and all, but a trailer can make anything look good. There’s nothing on there about the different shows. How do we know if there’s anything we want to watch without more info than that little thing? Is there some tab I’m missing that you can click on to see what the shows are?
