		<description>&lt;p&gt;P2P works best when everyone is watching the same thing at the same time.  That&#039;s anathema to the VoD zealots that run (ran?) Joost, Babelgum et al.  Linear programming works for advertisers too.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;And it helps that the PPs and QQs can piggyback their advertising on programming from CCTV, CNN, etc.  Over here rights are so fragmented and litigated that it&#039;s almost impossible to create a parasitic advertising-based model that&#039;s worked for the Chinese P2Ps (and Google BTW)..&lt;/p&gt;
