But if the producer of the segment makes viewers ask the basic questions that should be covered in the segment, then the producer has failed.</p> <p>I've always been a fan of what I call "short format documentary" but "five minute journalism" is a good label as well.</p> There is a school of thought that suggests you should always leave the viewer wanting more.
