StatShot: Idol Twitter and Rocknrolla

The Twitter-verse worships an American Idol, as the popular singing contest/parade of trainwrecks returning to oldteevee dominated the micro-blogging service for the first part of the week ending January 20, according to Trendrr.

However, when you take out Idol skewing the graph, you see that CSI, which said goodbye to husky lab leader Will Grissom, saw a nice spike in activity.

Director Guy Ritchie may not know how to pick a marital relationship that will last, but he sure can make a movie people will want to download… for free. Ritchie’s Rocknrolla kept the top spot on TorrentFreak’s Top 10 Most Pirated Movies on Bittorrent for the second week in a row. The Edward Norton cop drama Pride and Glory debuted on the list, as did the Simon Pegg comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate People.
