Ustream Cuts Some Staff
We’ve confirmed a report by TechCrunch that live video startup Ustream has laid off four employees, amounting to 10 percent of its workforce. Ustream recently broke out into the paid B2B space but its free live-streaming is still its big product, supported by Google ads and video overlays. The company last raised funding — $11.1 million from Doll Capital Management and Band of Angels — a year ago.
