why not a newteevee.com VIZIO Internet Apps widget?
dunno chris wonder what you would of said if this was the 1940’s and radio was the hip new medium would you be saying something like “why doesn’t someone put this thing where ever I am in the home I mean I could use this while making breakfast I need a toaster radio, a shower radio, etc…” cause we all have toaster radio’s now don’t we? or a tv in a refrigerator? don’t think ppl haven’t tried that stuff…
convergence rarely wins generally a divergent device tends to win the market even though in present time people think “if we just add more stuff to this old goat it will be a new goat” very untrue. TV is tv and that’s that. Something new has to be made that isn’t TV. Vizio almost has the right idea they’re very close but it won’t be a tv and these are the apps i’d like to see on my tv… its gotta be a ipod in 1999, a tv in 1950, a walkman in 1985
that old funky ceo at netflix spoke well about this last year. The thing he described wasn’t like TV…
We already have the Play At Home app in the UK and many countries in Europe via our Digital Text and Digital Interactive services.
Ugh, I liked! So clear and positively.
Thanks
IMDb is interested in making this happen. Interested parties should send an email to ilicensing@imdb.com, and reference, “NewTeeVee”
Oh yeah, the Who is that? app would be outstanding and I love the Twitter app that’s already out there.
I have Play At Home app ;-)
